The COVID-19 pandemic has forced most meetings, workshops and forums to move online, presenting daunting challenges for people across nearly every profession. Learning how to navigate the technology and maintaining personal connections in the online space are particularly challenging when meeting remotely. Planning online meetings requires extra preparation and additional tools to create engaging, creative and lively events.
Veda designed a one-hour primer on planning and facilitating online meetings. The training covers what it takes to: create a “Tesla” model of an agenda; prepare before going online; and overcome common facilitation hurdles on a virtual platform.
Sarah and Hilary delivered a noontime brown bag lunch training on April 9th on Zoom.
Over 50 participants from WA, OR, CA, HI, British Columbia and Ontario, Canada registered for our first online training. We heard requests from many who were unable to join our April training so we are planning to offer this short training again and a longer version as well. Check here for details on our upcoming trainings.
